Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - is a Canadian and American singer/songwriter. She has released more than 20 albums. Her songs are classified by the label as folk and alternative rock. But, they have influences from hip hop, jazz and punk. Ani Difranco has been widely acknowledged as a pioneer of feminist music. In the year 1990, she was among the first people to launch her own label independently. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who was introduced to Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is Italian heritage, while her mother comes from Montreal. 32 Flavors is a hit song written that was performed and written by Ani DiFranco.
