Born from Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied the clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. Following a successful application to The Boston Conservatory because of her enthusiasm for school theatre Sharp applied for The Boston Conservatory. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp decided to make a move into theatre after graduating Cum Laude with the B.F.A. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. She debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. And she played eight roles in the interactive comedic Eat the Runt. Other theatrical productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp is also working on other projects which she's working on alongside her projects for screen and stage. Sharp continues to sing and she has an album of her own that is in development. When she's not working the front or behind the camera or in the studio recording songs, Sharp has a love of fitness. She is always fitness classes and learning Krav Maga.. She likes piano as well along with hiking, and taking long roadstrips. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles.
