Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. She also worked in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and events during her time as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the limit on debt for the United States and debates by the supercommittee. Additionally, she was a general assignment correspondent covering topics like that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision concerning Obamacare in addition to the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. In 2007 she joined CNN as a national correspondent with CNN Newsource. As an CNN Newsource correspondent, she covered breaking news stories and produced feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource members. Prior to that, she was with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. Her current home is with her family in New York City together with her husband, two children and two grandkids.
